Vista iPod users rejoice, Microsoft has finally released a fix for the "Eject" problems that have plagued the iPod-Vista experience. Despite a patch from Apple and update to iTunes some Vista users still experienced problems ejecting their iPods. A bug in Vista would cause the Windows Explorer "Eject" command to corrupt song and other data on iPods even when using the latest version of iTunes. Microsoft [previously released][2] a patch that was supposed to fix the problem, but did not in all cases. Today's patch replaces the older version. Microsoft's new update should solve the problem and is recommended update for all Vista/iPod users. You can grab the update through Windows Update on Vista or [download it directly from the Microsoft site][1].
