Apple-Picking, after Camille Pissarro, 1830–1903 Watercolor by Warren E. Saul (1979) Over 30 years after my father first showed me this rendering, I am still in awe. It is a sketch of a sketch, a study of a study, based on Pissarro's study for his famous 1886 painting.
