+After saying goodbye to our friends and Lake Superior we headed south back down the Keweenaw bounce eventually for Detroit but after last year's rapid Drive North we swore we'd never do that again so this time we drove it to stop today drove a day stop the day drove a day slowly working our way down out of the up along Lake Michigan across the Mackinac Bridge down into the mitten saying goodbye to the up and then along the shores of Lake Huron one of the Lakes We visited the least no we did once swim in it. From there it was only a couple hundred miles south down to Detroit where there's a series of Metro Parks not too far outside the city
