Because that’s what builds dependance. Everything serves a purpose. We’re told stories of the great hardship and horrors from the people that lived even a few short hundred years ago. There were plagues and hunger and, gasp, everyone had to work to feed themselves and heat themselves. We have it so much better now with everyone on pharmaceuticals for depression and anxiety, our absolute dependance on corporations and governments to feed us, shelter us, clothe us, inject us, pay us, and tell us how to think. To give us the lives we’re supposed to live in the way we’re supposed to live them. + |
